Cheryl Cameron to take our organizing program to new heights in the years to come

We are thrilled to announce that the Dogwood Board has hired Cheryl Cameron to join the organization’s leadership team as Director of Organizing and Mobilization.

Cheryl first joined the Dogwood team as a volunteer leader on the North Shore in 2013, before coming on as a staff organizer in 2015, working to mobilize No Tankers supporters to vote in the federal election. In the years since, she has built and supported a vibrant ecosystem of Dogwood volunteer teams from the Lower Mainland’s North Shore, Tri-Cities and up the Sea to Sky Corridor to Whistler.

She joins Laura Benson, Kai Nagata and Matt Takach on the organization’s four-person Executive Team, continuing to pilot a model of distributed leadership at Dogwood within our staff and volunteer network.

Cheryl brings a deep passion for Dogwood’s people, campaigns and mission to her work. Please join us in congratulating Cheryl on this new role!
