The story of #BanBigMoney

In February 2016 at a retreat on Gabriola Island, Dogwood staff, board members and organizers resolved to get Big Money out of B.C.’s provincial and municipal politics.

Thanks to your support, all three parties have now pledged historic legislation to limit donations and ban corporate, union and out-of-province money from our elections.

Here are some of the highlights from this whirlwind campaign:

    Reading this excellent Storify post from Quebec City where another relectant premier Jean Charest eventually caved to pressure forming the Charbonneau Commission into corrupt political fundraising practices. BC would benefit from something similar.
