Whether it’s sponsoring the annual gathering of B.C. municipalities or lobbying city councillors to roll back climate policy, Fortis has unfair access to local governments, warping climate legislation to their liking rather than for the good of the public. It’s time to get fossil fuel money out of municipal governments. Mayors and councillors should listen to their communities, not Fortis.
