Paul Martin met with George Bush in Monterey, Mexico, this morning. He came away from the meeting “gaining commitments on Canadian passports and participation in the reconstruction of Iraq.”, according to CBC news.

The news is silent on what Martin gave to Bush, but it’s unlikely that Bush gave anything to Martin for nothing in exchange.

Unconditional support for the invasion of Syria or North Korea? Our remaining oil and gas? Missile defense? The Arctic – “Heck, Paul, you don’t use it, it’s all ice, and I’m protecting it for you anyway. Tell ya what. How badly do you want your guys to bid on rebuild contracts?”
