Aq’am Fire Relief Fund

It’s been a traumatic week for residents of the Aq’am reserve near Cranbrook, who escaped just in time as a raging wildfire consumed seven homes.

That’s seven families now living in limbo. Imagine all your housewares and furniture, photos and documents, clothes and children’s toys suddenly turned to ash.

The Aq’am First Nation has set up a fund to help those affected to rebuild their lives. Send a donation to the Aq’am Relief Fund via Dogwood and we will transfer 100% of the funds received.
