It’s time for the BC NDP to walk the talk.

The BC NDP say they will change donation laws in B.C. — once they get into office. For now, they are happily hosting $10,000 invite-only fundraisers for the resource industry. It’s time for them to clean up their act and stop taking corporate, union and out-of-province election money.

The BC NDP can no longer justify the argument that they need to meet the BC Liberals dollar for dollar to be competitive. From Bernie Sanders to even President-elect Trump, the American election has shown that elections are about more than money.

British Columbians want to elect politicians who will represent our interests and will listen to voters — not just foreign donors and the corporate elite.
