November 29th 2017 marks the passing of one year since the federal approval of Kinder Morgan’s expansion plans. While Justin Trudeau has been parroting this pipeline as “in the national interest”, British Columbians understood this betrayal and elected provincial MLA’s who have promised to use every tool in the box to stop a future riddled by Climate Change and Oil Spills. To mark the passing of one year Dogwooders and supporters across the province will be gathering and organizing to remind a few strategic MLA’s of their stated values.
Join Anna, the Remote Organizer, to hear what options are still on the table, what the plan is to get organized, and how you can get involved in your local community, or even from the comfort of your own couch.
Anna will start promptly at 5:35pm – please call in to the UberConference line at 5:30pm so that we can test the audio and start on time.
Following this briefing at 6:30pm Anna will be running a training on using Dogwood’s software to participate in calling action.
