Fortis admitted to a gas leak in Delta on Tuesday after waiting four hours to make a public statement (on Twitter). In the meantime, people were choking on the fumes and calling 9-1-1 in a panic.

Then Sunday, the Parkland refinery in Burnaby had a fire in a smokestack that caused a horrible smell throughout the city and surrounding areas. The facility took its sweet time reporting their issue, too.

Dogwood is working to stop Fortis and other fossil fuel companies from expanding in B.C.
